On 26th August 2023, the Minister of Education Mr. Chan Chun Sing stated, “Bilingualism is thecornerstone of our education. It is an important part of our Singapore identity. We will have to beproactive and do more in the promotion of our Mother Tongue languages…to create the necessaryenvironment for the learning of Mother Tongue languages to flourish.” To that end, Patricia has seenthe need to have her book translated into the mother tongues.
