About the Author:

Patricia Chew, an ex-lawyer and author of the action packed ‘Tony Tapir and Friends’ series, with afocus on sustainability, conservation, and leadership, has now reprinted her first book. What’s more,the book will now be available in Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin!

On 26th August 2023, the Minister of Education Mr. Chan Chun Sing stated, “Bilingualism is thecornerstone of our education. It is an important part of our Singapore identity. We will have to beproactive and do more in the promotion of our Mother Tongue languages…to create the necessaryenvironment for the learning of Mother Tongue languages to flourish.” To that end, Patricia has seenthe need to have her book translated into the mother tongues. She has always been an activeadvocate for the conservation of endangered wildlife, and now, with the support and endorsementof Bernard Harrison, the icon of animal conservation of Singapore, she hopes to get her messageacross to young audiences in all languages in the multi-racial hotpot of Singapore.
